Founded in Northern Ireland in 1979, Smiley Monroe has grown from supplying conveyor belts to local quarries into a global manufacturer trusted by many of the world's leading OEMs, dealers and end users.

Our journey in India began in 2012 when we established our first manufacturing facility in Hosur to support local customers with the same quality, service and technical expertise that built our reputation around the world.

Today, India is a vital part of our global manufacturing network.

The opening of our second, purpose-built manufacturing facility marks another important milestone. More than simply increasing production space, this investment expands our capability, strengthens supply and allows us to better support customers across India and neighbouring markets as demand continues to grow.

The new facility

The new 24,000 sq. ft facility has been designed to support the next stage of Smiley Monroe's growth in India. With additional manufacturing space, a second CNC cutting machine and room for further expansion, we're increasing our ability to support OEMs, dealers and end users with greater flexibility, shorter lead times and increased manufacturing capacity.

As part of our wider company strategy, we're investing across our global operations with an ambitious goal to triple our growth, reach and impact over the coming years. This new facility is an important part of that journey.
